“Our goal was to reproduce the sound of a Steinway & Sons grand piano so precisely that pianists would not be able to say whether they had heard a piano or a reproduction from our system.” – Peter Lyngdorf
Steinway Lyngdorf remains dedicated to the synergy between aesthetic form and uncompromising functionality–attaining the perfect blend of beauty and intelligence. To achieve this organic relationship, Steinway Lyngdorf draws from its own wellspring of gifted engineers, skilled artisans, and master craftsman. With their talents combined, a passion for perfection is reflected in the performance of every Steinway Lyngdorf product.
Painstakingly crafted through countless hours of precision machining, Steinway Lyngdorf sound systems can take up to 8 weeks to assemble by hand. The finish alone, the same Steinway & Sons classic black lacquer found on the world’s best pianos, takes up to two months to apply and perfect. Once a Steinway Lyngdorf system or speakers are built, they go through hours of rigorous mechanical testing by a team of quality assurance technicians. They check and re-check each specification, feature, and function to ensure that every Steinway Lyngdorf component will far exceed the owner’s expectations.
In our mission to create the most visually arresting and acoustically precise audio components ever conceived, no cost or effort has been spared. Every detail, every part exemplifies an inspired commitment to excellence and a level of superiority that is experienced with every performance.
