Dipole Loudspeaker Design

A dipole speaker´s sleek open-baffle radiate sound front and rear for uniform distribution without bass build-up along the room’s perimeters, and with vastly reduced spillover to adjacent rooms. With no air mass compressed inside an enclosure, these speakers are completely free of traditional cabinet-induced resonances and vibrations, and thus respond with speed and precision. The potential loss of bass energy in an open baffle is pre-corrected by the huge cone area of the efficient woofers and the system’s digital signal processor.

The inert baffle milled from solid blocks of aluminum holds the decoupled drivers absolutely still, so only the cones move. The result is more accurate and dynamic musical reproduction as the loudspeaker starts and stops precisely when the musical signal demands it.
